We are pleased to announce the release of the new CAD2VR® release 1.71. Discover the new HTC VIVE Focus 3 and Meta Quest 3 support.
Focus 3 & Quest 3 Support
CAD2VR® now also supports the HTC VIVE Focus 3 and the Meta Quest 3. The connection works either via cable or WiFi. There are two different CAD2VR versions for the Meta devices and the Steam devices (e.g. VIVE), you must download the correct one for your device.
Performance Boost
With the new update, you can now work with up to 10% more FPS than in the previous version, which means that you can now move even more smoothly in VR.
VR-Keyboard
Using the VR keyboard, you can now easily enter text in VR.
GLTF/GLB-Import (experimental)
You can now load textures and animations with the experimental GLTF/GLB import. As the models cannot yet be saved, the import is not yet available for multi-user mode.
ATTENTION:Saved sessions prior to 1.71 Cloud can no longer be opened from the 1.71 Cloud version. The files must be re-imported and saved.
